Learn To Sail (10 and up)The Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced level classes are progressive over 3-5 years of instruction in our Echo and 420 class boats. Course content progresses to using trapeze, spinnakers, and participating in the local regatta circuit. The Canadian Yachting Association standard curriculum is followed closely in all levels and certification is awarded from Basic 1 through to Race Team. New! Teen Sail will be run in 420's and will cover material from White I to Bronze IV depending on how fast the class takes it up. This program will only be offered in August. Race TeamWith a focus on training, these advanced sailors use their own Laser Radials and 420s to race in the highly competitive Canadian sailing circuit, keeping SMSC as their home base and training centre.
