| 185 Sailors Compete in Bay Wind Regatta |

On this past weekend (July 23-24), 185 sailors in 144 boats competed in 6 classes in SMSC's annual The Bay The Wind The Regatta. Fog and shifty winds challenged both competitors and the race committees on Saturday. Sunday was hot and sunny with a north wind, which allowed many races to be completed on each of the 3 courses. Full results are here. SMSC sailors put in a good showing with three 2nd place finishes as follows: Laser: 2nd - Dan MacMillan None of this could have happened without our volunteers. The event co-chairs are grateful to the 74+ volunteers who contributed their time toward the success of this event.
