At the Annual General Meeting held on November 7th, a motion was duly made and carried to adjourn the proceedings prior to Agenda Item C.2 - Nominations from the Floor.
The assembly will reconvene on Saturday, November 15th at 7:00pm to complete the remaining business of the AGM.
Please note, Warren Nethercote is willing to become SMSC’s next Commodore. This is reflected in our Main Motions (see below).
Under Robert’s Rules of Order, this reconvened meeting is a continuation of the same session. Accordingly, only those members who were present at the original AGM may participate in debate or voting, and quorum must be formed solely from among those original members.
Members not part of the original AGM are welcome to attend as observers in the gallery.
